Most of the students from schools in United Kingdom and Europe want to impress their teachers and become good in their eyes. A good student always stands out among others and creates a special place in the hearts of teachers. He is generally considered good if he performs well in academics or sports. Doing well in both can make him super good in their eyes. However, everyone is not that talented and fails to deliver when required. He can become a good student even if shows positive traits and behavior. Quite often, his performance does not matter and he is judged solely on the basis of his behavior. Teachers can not tolerate an ill mannered student, irrespective of whether he does well in academics and sports. Being courteous and polite towards everyone is the first requirement for becoming a good student.

Having said that, working hard and submitting assignments on time are also very essential to impress teachers. A hard working student revises his lessons regularly and is always prepared to take surprise tests. He studies hard throughout the year and does not depend on last minute revisions. This ensures that he does well in exams and creates a good impression in their minds. Being organized is the next step towards being a good student. Any student who takes due care of his books and belongings and checks the time table religiously is bound to remain ahead of others. Keeping an account of all the items in his bag helps him figure out whether the same are safe. There are some schools which report thefts and consist of students who steal tiffins, notebooks, etc of others.

That is why, it is important to take care of all the belongings and count them before going to school, so that the same number returns home. Some teachers help a student in finding his stolen or misplaced items while there are others who don’t care. They simply don’t take the responsibility on their shoulders and instead, expect him to be more careful.  In such cases, if he keeps all his belongings carefully and never lets the responsibility fall on his teachers, he is considered very disciplined and decent by everyone. Checking the time table reminds him of the assignments for that day and makes him think and plan for the next day. He can thus, make a note of the homework and all other significant events in a dairy. This helps him plan beforehand and complete all the assignments. It also enables him to focus on the main events first and think about the rest later.

Accomplishing all this is surely the trait of a good student. Taking part in co-curricular and class activities makes him get noticed by his teachers. He should surely try his best to do well in these activities. Last but not the least, he should look nice and dress properly. Short hair and comfortable clothes are expected out of a good student. His hair should be properly combed and his clothes should neither be too tight nor too loose.
